Job Overview
Our client, a well-regarded hospitality company in East Africa, is seeking a proactive and organized Secretary to support their Director. This role involves assisting in daily operations, managing schedules, and coordinating communications to ensure the efficient functioning of the directors office.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Handle daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
- Calendar Management: Organize and maintain the Directors calendar, setting up meetings, appointments, and reminders.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact between the Director and internal/external stakeholders, responding to emails and calls professionally and promptly.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and organize reports, presentations, and other documents as required by the Director.
- Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel plans, accommodations, and itineraries for business trips.
- Office Coordination: Ensure the directors office is well-organized, providing support in planning and managing office supplies and resources.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional demeanor with a proactive and adaptable approach.
