As the SecOps Engineering Manager and Cybersecurity Site Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled Information Security Platform Engineers and establishing and acting as the overall supervisor for all Cybersecurity personnel at the Lilly Capability Center in India. You will oversee the team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of information security platforms and tools, and will ensure that the team’s work aligns with organizational security objectives.

• Lead and mentor a team of Information Security Platform Engineers and serve as the supervisor escalation point for all Cybersecurity employees at the site.
• Provide technical leadership and direction for the security engineering team supporting our security platforms, tools, and solutions.
• Serve as a member of the Cybersecurity Lead Team; attending CISO Staff Meetings and other meetings where Lead Team participation is required.
• Collaborate closely with the Platform Security Service managers, Site Resource Managers and other security teams like threat/vuln management, incident response, app security
• Identify opportunities to enhance automation and operational efficiency
• Assist Service Owners and engineers in track security and performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reporting to security leadership
• Manage and prioritize the team's project/work backlog based on business priorities, risk assessments, and resource capacity
• Facilitate backlog grooming and planning sessions to ensure alignment across teams
• Establish processes for effective intake, prioritization, and scheduling of security platform work
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and new technologies

• Act as the senior-most security leader for the Bangaluru, dotted line reporting directly to the CISO
• Represent security interests for the site planning and leadership meetings
• Manage relationships with other peer directors and department heads within the site
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing, Cybersecurity team across multiple disciplines
• Ensure compliance with information security policies, standards and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on platform management and operations support.
• Proven experience building and managing teams of technical professionals, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize large project/work backlogs and develop supporting measurements
• Excellent prioritization skills and experience balancing security needs with business objectives
• Background using agile/lean workflow management methodologies for project execution
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different regions and time zones.
• Proven ability to motivate, develop and retain top security talent and senior individual contributors
• Experience managing teams of manager-level employees across different security domains
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to create a collaborative, inclusive environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for building partnerships across departments
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
