Secondaty Market Research Consultant

Role Purpose:

Deliver strategy/management consulting projects including – Market Assessments, basic forecasting, data Analytics, strategic market reviews, Go-To-Market (GTM), competitive profiling and analysis, pharma industry analysis etc.

The role additionally requires problem solving skills along with integrated desk research including epidemiology studies, quantitative analysis using IQVIA data assets, storyboarding, stakeholder and project management, business development support, people management, process improvement etc.

Operational Responsibilities

oBackground and experience with Market Assessments, Basic Forecasting, Data Analytics (Power BI) and good quant aptitude and intensive knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Life sciences sector

oCandidate will be responsible to assist in commercial due diligences for local pharma clients and basic forecasting skills

oHelp in business plan development for pharma candidates

oPerform extensive analysis/research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity as per client problem statement

§Source information based on specific client requirements through secondary research and IQVIA data sources

oIntegrate qualitative and quantitative data and present the analysis in a structured manner; bring out value-added insights to the clients

oUndertake market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market size and growth, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness); competitor characteristics (product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, sales force activities, pricing analysis); prescriber characteristics (number of prescribers by specialty, physician prescription activity, desires and unmet needs) etc.

oDeliver high quality, client-ready output with minimal supervision; identify risks / issues and escalate to the project leads in a timely manner

oWillingness to work as a dedicated FTE for business units like Middle East, Southeast Asia

Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences from a premier institute
• 1+ years of experience in direct client facing role within Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology/ Consulting/ Professional Services Outsourcing company
• Possess demonstrated hands on expertise in one or more practice areas
• Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills
