General Summary:
Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation.
· Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
· Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
· Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
· Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
· Has ability to withstand pressure without diluting Testing processes.
· In case of emergency take charge of the situation, coordinate with stakeholders.
· Should be able to optimize & effectively manage time.
· Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product.
· Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Engineering teams.
· Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product.
· Make sure the product automation is always running with the latest guidelines and features.
The Engineer must have a good understanding of Display technologies and experience with automation - c/c++ programming and/or python programming
Minimum Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
. Good working experience in Display technology i.e MIPI DSI/HDCP/PSR/DP CTS/VGA/DVI/HDMI/HDR/Variable refresh rate/Multi Stream Transport/DSC.
. Experience with automation of artifacts identification on UI would be big plus.
. Proven track record of value addition done to the Product / Solutions through strong QA processes.
. Someone who can be a path setting leader through individual contribution in Testing.
. Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation methodologies.
. Experience in non-functional testing types is big plus i.e USB/PMIC/Security.
. Analyzing new architecture feature on system area and help in improving the performance and power.
· Experience working with and testing applications on Windows
· Expert in C/C++/Python programming
· Versioning Tool Knowledge of Git, Perforce.
· Outstanding problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and team working skills.
· Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected
· Proven experience in test automation development, source code management, continuous integration, and script programming, test framework development.
• Must have White box testing experience on Desktop along with test coding experience
Preferred additional qualifications:
· Experience in Windows Multimedia / Windows on Snapdragon software.
