Responsibilities


As a Scrum Master / Agile Coach with a strong background in technology and agile methodologies, you will take full ownership of the Agile mindset, values, principles and practices in your area - aiming at creating an environment that enables fast delivery of highest possible value within a motivating, human-centered work place. You will interact with key Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and Data Science team members to deliver critical outcomes in support of our business objectives.


You will work with a couple of agile teams throughout the various ceremonies whilst creating transparency about team and project activities, dependencies, and impediments. You will work through blockers to keep the teams moving forward and support product- and service-deliveries with geographically distributed teams.


As an Agile Coach / Scrum Master, you will have the following key accountabilities:


  • Increase the agile maturity, incremental thinking skills and self-management of our cross-functional teams, by working both as a dedicated team member and domain change agent.
  • Guiding the teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight our customers and stakeholders
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Guiding the team towards higher self-organization by filling the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information, incl. removing uncovered impediments
  • Coach, mentor and train our teams on the effective application of agile values, principles and practices, making them quickly adaptable to new learnings and changing environments
  • Supporting and working closely with the Product Owner and relevant stakeholders, especially when it comes to refining, aligning and maintaining the product backlog
  • Partner with and actively contribute to our Agile community

Qualifications
  • You have a servant leadership mindset and a natural willingness to empower teams and individuals to reach the next level
  • You are a self-starter with a structured approach, and a can-do, pragmatic, solution-oriented attitude
  • 5 years of related experience and at least 2 years experience working as a Scrum Master in IT- and tech-related industries and domains
  • Proven record in promoting transparency, empowerment and continuous improvement
  • Excellent facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Solid analytical observation- and communication-skills
  • Experiences with agile transformations in larger enterprises
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced working experience in using JIRA / Confluence
  • Knowledge of the SAFe setup is a plus
  • On top, your English communication skills are great, you are a team player and tech-obsessed, always on the hunt for the latest and hottest shots
