About the department
You will be joining the DD&IT Product Supply unit at Novo Nordisk in Bangalore. This unit is responsible for more than 40 global IT systems, including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. Our strategic objective is to be the IT partner for the business, providing the necessary solutions and support to meet the production and supply chain needs worldwide. The systems we manage, including SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Advanced Planner Optimizer (APO), are critical to the execution of key business processes across the organisation. We work on a global scale, supporting all areas of the business, from R&D to Sales, and our systems are used 24x7 by thousands of Novo Nordisk users worldwide.



The position
As a Scrum Master at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Coordinate PI planning, sprint cadences, retrospectives, system demos, and ideation/improvement tracking. Coach and mentor team members in Agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration. Act as the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers or stakeholders).
  • Facilitate user design thinking/coaching sessions with product owners, developers, UX designers, and Quality Engineers.
  • Manage technical debt and improve product quality value throughout the product life cycle.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, MIRO, and Azure DevOps.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile practices and measure the success of Agile implementation.


Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes then you could be the person we are looking for:


  • 8-10 years of experience with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with multiple Agile frameworks. Safe Agile experience required.
  • Strong communication, conflict management, collaboration, coaching, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, regulated environments, and software development practices.
  • Well-versed with tools- JIRA/MIRO/Azure DevOps.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., CSM/PSM, ICAgile, SAFe) are desired.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with end-to-end product models in any industry is good to have.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties (vendors), stakeholders, user community.
