Introduction to Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Science & Enabling Units IT team, operating out of sites across the US, UK, Sweden, India & Mexico. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for Agile coaching and supporting the Product Owner, particularly with grooming and maintaining the product backlog. You will facilitate the team's progress toward Sprint goals, commitments, and successful delivery. This includes Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. You will foster a positive team environment and ensure everyone is respected, contributes effectively, and is heard. You will also be responsible for creating Resource burn down charts and other reporting artefacts, resolving sprint blockers and managing resource allocation during sprints delivery from multiple teams.
Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 5 years for a software/data development team.
Experience with widely successful Agile approaches and techniques.
Experience engaging project collaborators not familiar with Scrum.
Ability to coordinate sprints, retrospective & review meetings, and daily stand-ups.
Good communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
Some traditional project management experience (eg. Coordinate release management, create project documentation, handle communications to collaborators, negotiate schedule with stakeholders, provide status reports to collaborators not familiar with Agile methods).
Jira knowledge and usage.
Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Additional certifications in Agile methodologies.
Experience with other project management tools.
