Position Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of inventory, procurement, and logistics. This role involves managing demand, coordinating shipments, improving processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Additionally, the position requires strong leadership to guide a team of supply chain professionals, track performance metrics, and implement strategies for efficiency and cost savings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role also includes handling any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor to support business objectives.






Duties & Responsibilities

·Inventory & Demand Management:


oSupervise the monitoring of incoming orders from internal customers, manage demand dates, and ensure on-time delivery of orders to internal customers.


·Procurement:


oOversee and supervise the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of purchase orders to fulfill internal demand.


·Logistics Coordination:


oSupervise the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, manage transportation providers, and track shipments.


·Process Improvement:


oImplement and supervise strategies to optimize supply chain operations, including streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.


·Team Leadership:


oLead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse personnel, logistics coordinators, or procurement specialists.


·Performance Monitoring:


oTrack and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery time, inventory turnover, and cost savings.


·Compliance Management:


oEnsure and supervise adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.


·Additional Responsibilities:


oPerform any ad hoc tasks or special projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor to support overall supply chain operations and business objectives.


oHandle any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor to support business objectives.


Supervisory Responsibilities


                            This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.


Reporting Relationship


        SCM and Facility Manager






Qualifications

REQUIRED 


·Proficient in English (written/ spoken)


·Minimum 10 years experience in Supply chain role, with experience in an oil & gas environment preferred


·Familiar with inventory, logistics and warehouse management concepts


·Experience working with ERP systems like Oracle/ SAP


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (Optional)


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Leadership and supervisory experience to manage a team effectively
  • Data analysis capabilities to interpret and utilize supply chain metrics
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
