From SCM, Siemens is looking to recruit an experienced Regional Commodity Manager for Cabinets andTransformers.

The Regional Commodity Manager (RCM) will report to the Head of Supply Chain for Pooling CategoriesIndia. The Ideal candidate will be able to function and lead in a team environment, must be a self-starterandhavethe abilitytomulti-taskinafast-pacedenvironmentaswellasoperateindependently.

Ensuring strategic procurement for CabinetsandTransformers, in which case the potentialfor bundlingallsites/projectsoftheRegion(India)isexploited to achievethebestconditionsbasedondeliveryexcellence. Responsible for the development and implementation of the commodity strategies across thebusinessunitsintheregion.Accountableformaterialcost,long-termassuranceofsupply,supplierperformance,and supportofsupplier selection requirements as wellas supplymanagementrelatedinformation and data management for the assigned commodity. The RCM will support the GVS (GlobalValue Sourcing)programwithintheRegionandGlobalprojects.

·Organize and execute regional bundling of demands of the different Divisions/sites and projectsforoptimumutilizationofprocurementpower.

·BydelegationofthePuC(PurchasingCouncil)team,defineandimplementtheRegionalcommodity strategy,supply and bundling Strategies in orderto achieve the maximumprofitcontribution totheDivisions'targets.

·By delegation of the PuC team, implement global sourcing projects as required by the globalcommoditymanagers. InterfaceofthePuCin theRegion.RCMsupports PuC/CCMfor localimplementationof PuCStrategies&ProvideRegional demands/forecasttoPuC

·Analyzedemand,markets, and suppliers to createa basis for decidingon the optimum sourcingstrategy. Ensure that supply market research data is available to support business decisions duringproduct/servicedevelopmentandindustrializationphasesacrossthevariousBusinessUnits.Create and Implement procurement strategies based on conducted demand, market, and supplieranalysistoensurelong-term,cost-efficient,andreliableon-timesupplyofmaterialsoftherequiredquality.

·For the scope of the region, implement and lead a cross-location competence network within theOpCo/StratCo buyers organizations todefine andimplement Pan India commodity strategies,share competence and best practices, and drive common improvement programs for the assignedcommodities;Management ofregionalspecificSuppliersandglobalSuppliers

Work with Cross Function Business Partners from BU’s, Project Teams to understand Commodityrequirements then finding qualified suppliers and sourcing of these Commodities / Raw Materialwith bestTotal Costsupplier

·ConductnegotiationstoacquirethebestvaluewiththesupportofPuCManager& GlobalCommodityManagerfrominter-connectedBusinessUnits

·Monitor global markets to build a basis for deciding the optimum sourcing strategy and cooperatewith thetop suppliers

·Implement and ensure the usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensurehigh processefficiencyandprocesscompliance

·Generate, document, and implement savings while monitoring and reporting on relevant metricstocontributetothesuccessofthebusiness

·By delegation of the PuC Chairman, conduct global / regional price and contract negotiations withcontract conclusion to guarantee security of supplies at the best Total Cost of Ownership and inline withthegeneralCSCMguidelines.

Systematicallyforwardallrelevantprocurement-relatedprojectinformation(updatedcontractualconditions,suppliermanagementdata)toadviseallprojectparticipantsofanychanges

·Undertake supplier management (jointly with partner functions, e.g. Quality, logistics, etc.) inordertorecruit anddevelopthebestsupplierstowardsachievingan optimum supplychainthroughsupplierrelationship,suppliernegotiationsand suppliermanagementprograms.

·Supports Purchasing Council with regional input on new technology roadmaps for the assignedcommoditythatcontributetothedevelopmenteffortsoftheBusinessUnits.

·Define and implement concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warrantycosts.

·Establish/MaintainsupplierrelationshipsandsupportSupplierManagementprocesses(qualification,selection,evaluation, development, classification) and updateevaluation systemsto document, acquire, and develop top suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurementquality

·Give support with reporting and data analytics(procurement volume, cost savings, actual vs.forecast)anddatamaintenance(R4B,ESNcodes, monopolycodes)

·Drive&SupportregionalSustainabilityinitiativesandCO2optimizationprogramme.
