Role: Scientific Communications Specialist


Business Unit: Royal Canin India
 


Job Purpose:


Royal Canin aims to become the reference in health nutrition for cats and dogs. Through science, innovation, and specialization, we can improve their lives.


Scientific Communication has always played a critical role in the delivery of our scientific message to all stakeholders.These stakeholders include internal stakeholders (associates) and external stakeholders include (but not limited to) veterinarians, Key Opinion Leaders, breeders, NGO and pet owners.The job holder is responsible for the development of the local market scientific communication strategy and to ensure that this is aligned with the local market priorities.



The job holder is also responsible for developing and executing training and scientific communication programs and materials for all stakeholders to support the business's sales goals and help drive our brand reputation.



What will be your key responsibilities?




  • Collaborating with Royal Canin marketing by providing scientific support to launch new products and promote the growth of existing products in your functional category.


  • Build ongoing expertise through targeted KOL and veterinary group relationships.


  • To collaborate with in-field and national accounts Royal Canin associates to have up-to-date market information and business needsleading to strong category business acumen


  • Develop/adapt all scientific communication materials and training modules for the local market


  • Develop and present technical/product/nutritional presentations to key internal and external stakeholders to disseminate information regarding Royal Canin, products and Health through Nutrition


  • Provide technical/product support to key areas of the business including Consumer Care, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing/Sales/Digital teams


  • To create a local strategy for Scientific Communication based on global scientific communication directives and local adaptation based on the priority of the local unit



What are we looking for?



  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine/Animal Nutrition/Animal Health. Ideally, you have a specialization in communications.


  • Ideally, you have at least 3+ years of experience as a veterinary practitioner.


  • You have excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.


  • You are passionate about improving the lives of pets by transforming the way the world applies pet nutrition.


  • Candidates based out of Bangalore/Chennai would be preferred
