How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?As the function responsible for Planning & Scheduling in Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions, the Scheduling Manager is accountable for the development of common tools and methods (workflows & procedures) by considering best practices from Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions’ operations and the industry state of the art. This shall ensure reliable schedule estimates in the proposal phase and delivery of an accurate forecast of projects’ schedule with critical path analysis and project progress.
The Scheduling Manager is available upon request to provide expertise to the centers of Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions. The Scheduling Manager consults Scheduling HoD and Director Risk Management & Project Control (RMPC) and on Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions’ business portfolio with his/her expertise in all Planning & Scheduling matters. On request from the Scheduling HoD and RMPC Director, Scheduling Manager conducts cold eye reviews on proposals or projects under execution. The Scheduling Manager is the owner of the Primavera (& MS Project) software as main Planning & Scheduling tool in operations and its development.Job Description

Operative Effectiveness:


  • Develops global concepts and common tools & methods for Mono-/Multicenter Schedules.
  • Defines guidelines (golden rules) for Planning & Scheduling activities (including progress measurement & critical path analysis).
  • Supports specific cold eye reviews triggered by the Scheduling HoD and Center RMPC Director.
  • Follows up with Centers that harmonized or common Planning & Scheduling as well as progress measurement tools and methods during front end & execution are implemented and followed.
  • Provides expertise in Planning & Scheduling on request.
  • Implements the process of Scheduling Risk Analysis (SRA) and interfaces it with the Risk Management Department.

Development and Competitiveness:


  • Develops and implements common & efficient tools, methods, workflows, procedures in Planning & Scheduling.
  • In particular, he/she is the business owner of the Primavera tools and must define the related IT development plans.
  • Performs internal audits on tools, methods, procedures & workflows.
  • Defines training needs on tools, procedures, workflows & conduct training.

  • Develop direct staff members to the best of their responsibilities
