Technical tasks:
Automating Software Deployments:
Create and maintain deployment scripts to automate the deployment process.
Implement continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines based on DevOps Methodology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule and ensure successful delivery of software products.
Support standardisation and optimisation of Global IT Shared Services in the area of responsibility.
Creating and Maintaining Deployment Documentation:
Document deployment procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Keep deployment documentation up to date.
Resolving Deployment Issues:
Troubleshoot deployment-related issues promptly.
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Monitoring Deployments:
Monitor deployment progress and performance based on KPIs (key performance indicators).
Address any issues or bottlenecks that arise during deployments.
Coordinating with Other Teams:
Ensure alignment and coordination during deployment cycles.
Collaborate with other IT infrastructure and IT Enterprise Application teams.
Projects
Collaborate in local and international IT projects.
Engineer resp. bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent skills acquired in practice, and 4-5 years of experience in similar work.
In-depth knowledge in the areas of:
Software deployment and release management.
Software packaging and deployment tools in particular with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Microsoft Device management with Intune.
IT Workplace and mobile Systems (Desktops, Notebooks, Mobile Devices).
Fundamentals in the areas of:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues efficiently.
Analytical skills, process-oriented thinking and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with overlapping areas of expertise
Experience in teamwork with international and multicultural teams
Basics in project management (classical and agile)
Comprehensive language skills in English
Trustworthiness and loyalty
Ability to cooperate and team spirit
