What you will do

In this vital role you will responsible for designing, implementing, and driving the integration and innovation required to maintain a resilient, compliant, and secure global SAP platform. This role involves collaborating with Basis, development, integration, security, and cloud SMEs, at the Amgen Technology and Innovation Centre. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining architectural standards, providing technical expertise, and continuously improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of all SAP BTP services, aligned with the S/4HANA roadmap. Ensuring compliance with GxP, data governance, and security policies, driving innovation, and communicating effectively with collaborators.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Architect, strategize, and design SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP’s guidelines of keeping the core clean, and Amgen’s city planning strategy.
Manage the roadmap and lifecycle of BTP services, ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of these services within the SAP platform.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to peer architects, partners, and external collaborators, driving BTP discussions and implementation.
Collaborate directly with the SAP Platform SMEs to understand, prioritize, and advise on BTP focus and rollout.
Establish guidelines, processes, and tools, providing technical guidance to ensure seamless consumption of BTP services across development, integration, security, and automation needs.
Mature and maintain appropriate BTP service metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and service level agreements (SLAs), and communicate key updates and BTP service consumption to management for auditing and reporting purposes.
Develop a deep understanding of Global ERP's business needs, processes, and environment to enforce GxP compliance, data governance, and security policies applicable to BTP.
Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies, such as the SAP Build portfolio, including SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Build Work Zone, along with AI/ML and GenAI solutions, to enhance the capabilities of the SAP platform.
Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management to provide updates on project status, performance metrics, and other relevant information.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Expertise in BTP management and administration, including configuring the SAP BTP cockpit, creating subaccounts, managing users and roles, and enabling service entitlements as needed by business requirements, while keeping cost efficiency in mind.
Proven experience in configuring and managing BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite (IS), Work Zone with Fiori services, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP Generative Hub, including identity and access management, role-based access control, single-sign-on, and data encryption.
Strong knowledge of cloud transport management, monitoring, cloud connector architecture and its connectivity, with the ability to implement and maintain it to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of BTP integration with AWS services, assisting in their implementation to enhance the reliability of the SAP Platform.
Exposure to BTP Cloud Foundry Runtime, SAP Fiori, and UI5 development, mobility, and along with SAP Joule for Build code
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) within the BTP environment.

SAP Certified Technology Associate (preferred)
