POSITION SUMMARY:


Under general direction of the SAP Security Director and Technical Leads, the SAP Security Specialist will provide their expertise and analysis for Cencora’s ERP (SAP) platforms specific to Application Security tasks.  The Security Specialist will work with members of the Business Process/Functional Teams to identify requirements and translate those to technical requirements for business process, system access, and overall compliance.


The Specialist may also work with members of the Internal Audit and Internal Controls department to address Segregation of Duties conflicts, Governance, Risk & Compliance controls and Change Management protocol.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsible for working on the day-to-day operational Security related change management tasks sent by Cencora’s SAP Security Leads. Responsible for ensuring Security related tasks are performed on a timely basis in accordance with agreed upon SLAs . Development of SAP ABAP and Fiori Privileges as outlined by the Cencora Functional Teams and dispersed to the SAP Security developers on all SAP Production instances currently deployed at Cencora   . Assist in the delivery of SAP security functionality including analysis of end user requirements, requests and issues, complete oversight design and testing of SAP security roles.  Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external standards. All members of the SAP Security Team will be focused on assisting Cencora’s Audit partners by maintaining current and accurate documentation. Work in a complimentary fashion with other members of the SAP Security Team to provide technical direction and assistance when necessary. Work to acquire a complete and comprehensive understanding of Cencora’s approach to SAP security design. Perform and monitor the changes made to Cencora’s provisioning middleware component – NWIDM. Responsibilities include GRC EAM (FireFighter) Maintenance for approved Users.   


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Requires at a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience working on a SAP Application.  Must have experience with understanding and resolving Segregation of Duty conflicts and Change Management practices.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:


Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; working knowledge of applicable computer applications used at Cencora Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments varying ins scope across a cross-functional environment Working knowledge of network solutions and systems Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in  English Good interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
