Job Family Definition:


Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.


Management Level Definition:


Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.


What you’ll do:


Responsibilities:


  • Excellent Functional Knowledge and Understanding of various S4 HANA Modules for SD  (SD, MM, PP, QM) Modules
  • Specialization/ Detailed understanding of Supply Chain Management process in SAP
  • Exposure and hands on experience on various E2E processes in S4 from a Quote to Cash business process
  • Complete knowledge on Manual Testing Life Cycle/Standards and Processes/ Test Plan templates/ test cases templates
  • Identify and document the test scenarios relevant for every release cycle based on the business requirements
  • Connect with the functional SME’s to identify the gaps in the test scenarios and document them to increase the testing coverage.
  • Lead a team of manual and automation testers to ensure the functional capabilities are covered accurately and all validations are captured in the test executions.
  • Good understanding of the test management tools and test reporting tools.
  • Be able to identify the root cause of the issue reported by testing team, and help to get it resolved by the IT teams
  • Be able to do a performance trace and identify the performance issues in S4 system to help eliminate any slowness during the testing phase.
  • Build a test data strategy for testing post system refresh
  • Be able to lead the testing team for a smooth test execution across SAP and the connected applications

What you need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:


  • Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • 8 - 10 years of experience with Manual Testing Lifecycle in SAP.
  • Excellent knowledge on SAP SD processes with key focus on Supply Chain Management.
  • SPOC from the team for connecting with functional SME’s and identify the testing gaps to improvise the test coverage for every release.
  • Identify test data strategy, RCA for issues identified, performance issue analysis and support during executions.
  • Able to write the test cases, and also execute them during each release cycle.
  • Experience of handling multiple release test cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team and also individually with minimum guidance.
