Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Create, modify, and maintain characteristics, classes, classification hierarchies, configurable materials, configuration profiles, maximal bills of material, super routings, object dependencies (constraints, rules, selection conditions, procedures), variant tables, variant functions, variant pricing, material variants, material variant and sales order costing.



Perform functional and integration testing of VC models.



Partner with the customer’s product development, engineering, marketing, sales, production, and procurement personnel, to ensure that all product and system configuration requirements are addressed.



Assist in the customer’s development and validation of documentation and training materials as required for new product and system models being released for the VC.



Ensure efficiency and quality for all VC related functions within the SAP system.



Actively involved in implementing/rolling out SAP to new sites in our business.



Work in Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing Processes.



Provide specifications to developers, test new developments and implement new functionality.



Prepare end user documentation, business process flows, business process procedures and related documents.



Coordinate and provides training to the users.



YOU HAVE:


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor’s Degree required (Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations or technical disciplines highly preferred)



SAP R3 Enterprise ECC 6.0 experience is required



Ideally 7+ years SAP ERP Systems experience



Ideally 5+ years of SAP VC modules is required.



Full lifecycle implementation/integration experience (at least 3)



Integration experiences with other areas such as PP, SD, FICO.



Functional experience in manufacturing environment in an industry



Experience working with integration with other solutions.



Ability to work with a demanding and global user community



Superior oral and written communication skills



Great interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible



Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment



Problem solving ability – independently and within a team environment



Ability to liaise and communicate well with internal customers and SAP team members in different time zones



NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:


Knowledge of working with Production Planning and Sales & Distribution



Knowledge of WM/MM



International exposure



S/4 HANA experience
