Role - SAP FICO Consultant
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced hands-on FICO Consultant with a strong background in SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and AMS support. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to align with our clients' business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in SAP FICO and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams. Experience working within an Onsite/Offshore Delivery model and strong communication skills are essential for this position.
Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent), or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a FICO Consultant in SAP S/4HANA environments and Fiori.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules such as SD and MM.
  • Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle SAP FICO implementation projects, covering everything from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
  • Expertise in Interfaces, IDOCs, and API.
  • Proven ability to independently write Functional Specifications and experience working with Custom Objects.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP programs.
  • Solid understanding of SAP PS (Project System), along with FI-MM and FI-SD integration.
  • Strong grasp of finance and accounting principles, processes and best practices.
  • SAP certification(s) in S/4 FICO modules is required.
  • Prior experience on media & entertainment accounts (desired).
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end SAP FICO support projects, including gathering business requirements, configuring systems, and overseeing testing and deployment.
  • Set up Fiori access and provide user training.
  • Act as the primary contact for all FICO-related issues, handling troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Independently write Functional Specifications, collaborate with the technical team, and perform testing across various business scenarios.
  • Analyze and understand business scenarios to ensure effective testing.
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and support teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
  • Stay updated on SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to propose innovative solutions.
