Responsibilities: •Lead the design, development, and optimization of SAP BW applications and front-end reporting solutions. •Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BW solutions. •Architect and enhance BW data models, ETL processes, and performance tuning strategies. •Drive best practices and governance for SAP BW architecture, security, and performance. •Ensure SAP BW solutions align with business KPIs and long-term strategic goals. •Work closely with SAP Basis and system administrators to manage system performance, upgrades, and migrations. •Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BW developers. •Document technical designs, enhancements, and best practices for future reference.SkillsDomain •Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain & Logistics, Quality Management, Customer Relationship, and Project Management within an SAP ecosystem.Key Responsibilities: •Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW on HANA solutions, including data modeling, InfoProviders, transformations, and data flows. •Leverage SAP HANA capabilities to optimize performance and improve the efficiency of SAP BW systems. •Configure SAP BW on HANA systems for optimal scalability, performance, and reliability. •Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements, translating them into efficient BW data models and reporting solutions. •Develop high-performance data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, leveraging the power of HANA and BW on HANA features. •Implement and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for business-critical reports and analytics. •Perform troubleshooting and provide ongoing support for BW on HANA production environments, resolving data and performance-related issues. •Apply SAP BW best practices to enhance system performance, maintainability, and security. •Lead the migration of traditional SAP BW systems to SAP BW on HANA, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption. •Ensure the quality and integrity of data across the entire SAP BW on HANA environment. •Create comprehensive technical documentation for custom solutions, enhancements, and configurations. •Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders.Required Skills and Experience: •Minimum of 8 years of experience working with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA, or similar data warehousing solutions. •Expertise in SAP BW architecture, data modeling and report design. •Strong experience with SAP BW on HANA data flows, including real-time data replication using SAP SLT and BW Data Services. •In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BW for performance optimization, including the use of HANA-native features like calculations and aggregations. •Proficiency in SAP BW performance tuning, including data load optimization and query performance enhancement. •Good experience with SAP BW reporting tools such as BEx Analyzer, SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office), and SAP Analytics Cloud. •Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA features such as Simplification and SAP HANA-based data modeling. •Strong knowledge of ABAP and custom enhancements within the SAP BW environment. •Experience in data governance, data security, and audit compliance within SAP BW on HANA environments. •Proven track record of managing large-scale BW on HANA implementations or migrations. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business users and technical teams.Preferred Skills: •Experience with SAP BW on HANA. •SAP BW/4HANA certification is a plus. •Knowledge of ABAP for BW (for custom enhancements). •Familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions and integration with BW.Technical SAP BW (BW 7.x, BW/4HANA, BW on HANA)- Mandatory-8+ SAP BW-ABAP (ABAP for BW Enhancements) - Mandatory - 5+ SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Stories, Models, and Planning - Preferred - 3+Interpersonal & Communication •Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. •Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. •Ability to lead and mentor junior team members. •Experience working in cross-functional teams and global project environments.Preferred Qualifications: •SAP certification in BW is a strong advantage. •Experience in SAP BW migration projects (e.g., BW to BW/4HANA) is a plus.
