Job Description

Preferred Skills:Minimum 15 years of full-time education.


6 to 8 years of experience in SAP Basis consulting


Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers both in English language.(Knowledge of Hindi language is preferable)


Must have experience with working in Support Projects and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.


Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within prescribed timelines, and standard accepted practices.


Ability to handle the complete integration landscape from a support perspective, solving incidents and change requests while maintaining the SLA.


Should be able to help a team and provide proper and periodical updates to customer on the incidents and CRs while also making effective progress.


Work with customer business teams and project teams effectively, understanding the issues from a business perspective and providing on-time resolutions for the same.


Conduct requirement-gathering sessions related to new change requests and implement the integrations in both Basis.


Ability to provide extended support, during weekends to assist on priority issues, system restarts and patch upgrades.


Ability to understand the need for adjusting or optimizing the existing integrations and provide proactive solutions to customer with multiple options.


Minimum 3 – 4 years of SAP Upgrade and Migration Experience required as below:Should have Strong work experience in DESIGN, SIZE, BUILD & RUN of SAP Intelligent Suite Systems on Hybrid Environments (IaaS & PaaS)


Collaborate with Functional Experts to understand Business Requirements and provide Technical Solutions


Minimum Two Projects with End-to-End Planning, Preparation & Execution of Implementation, Migration of SAP ERP / S/4HANA Systems


Minimum One End-to-End Cycle of OS/DB/ Hardware Migrations using SUM, DMO & HSR Methods in Hybrid Environments


Minimum Two End to End Upgrades like EHP, S/4HANA and SPS


Minimum One End to End Cycle of S/4 HANA / BW4HANA Conversion


Work experience with Integration of SAP CPI and BTP Products


Minimum 2 – 3 years of SAP Basis Production Support Experience as below:Should be able to technically manage Mission Critical 24/7 Production landscapes.


Should be having Strong experience in administration of ECC, S4HANA, BW4HANA, SAP PO Systems.


Strong knowledge of Database Administration in SAP HANA and Oracle, including Performance tuning


Working knowledge in SAP Security Hardening and Performance tuning of SAP Systems


Experience in System Copy, System refresh and DB Refreshes


Experience in SAP System Backup & Restore process for Linux systems.


Expertise in Design, Implement and manage Business Continuity Solutions such as Clustering, HA / DR Failover Solutions for SAP landscapes.


Hands on experience on Linux & AIX operating system at administration level


Additional Skills:License Management, Transport Management and User Management


HANA DB maintenance and DB user management process with Credentials


Data Recovery and Back-up restore


System Monitoring and Performance Tuning


Operating system maintenance and user management process with credentials


Monitor system performance and identify and resolve technical issues.


Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.


Participate in system upgrades and migrations.


Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.


Preferred certification:SAP Certified Technology Specialist – System Administration


Optional Skills:Has participated in at least one large information transformation engagements within SAP Basis & Security


Able to work with functional consultants to refine roles and authorizations to the granular level of authorization object.


Working knowledge of segregation of duties within an SAP environment and able to design and build SAP roles accordingly


Able to review the business blueprint, functional specifications for SAP Basis and security role development and user acceptance test plans and participate in cutover activities during go-live phases



Qualifications

BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
