Summary: VES is looking for a highly experienced SAP Basis Lead to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing all SAP Basis operations within the organization. The person should have extensive experience in SAP ERP migration to S/4HANA and SAP BW migration to BW/4HANA, with a strong understanding of SAP integration with non-SAP systems through APIs, RPA, SAP PI/PO, and other integration tools. This person will be also responsible for managing and administrating databases like HANA or SQL, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead and manage all SAP Basis activities, including system installations, upgrades, configurations, and performance tuning.
• Oversee the migration of SAP ERP to S/4HANA and SAP BW to BW/4HANA projects.
• Integrate SAP systems with non-SAP platforms through APIs, RPA, SAP PI/PO, and other relevant integration tools.
• Manage and administer underlying databases, including HANA and SQL, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and network teams to ensure system connectivity, security, and performance.
• Manage system backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitor SAP systems' performance and apply corrective measures to address potential issues.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, user roles, and authorizations within the SAP environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support for SAP Basis team members and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of SAP solutions.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with leadership experience in managing SAP projects.
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA migrations.
• Expertise in integrating SAP with non-SAP systems using API, SAP PI/PO, and other integration technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with HANA and SQL databases, including administration and optimization.
• In-depth understanding of SAP landscape architecture and infrastructure components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
