Should have 4-6 years of experience primarily in Security and BASIS, competent in the day-to-day activities and the following areas.
At least one full life-cycle implementation project (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
Understands of SAP Activate Methodology.
Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes and review release notes.
Should have knowledge of System upgrade activities, planning.
Well-versed with OSS activities, creating OSS messages, opening systems, maintaining SAP system data, updating new systems, etc.
Well-versed with Oracle DB activities, applying parameters at the database level.
Should have good knowledge of Linux & HPUX and SAP Security activities.
SAP ECC SPS, EHP, NetWeaver Upgrade using SUM tool.
Knowledge on SAP AD ID integration - SSO - Single Sign-On Implementation using Kerberos authentication.
SAP Certification (Desired).
Experience in Manage Engine Ticketing Tool (Desired).
Responsibilities
System monitoring/health check activities and reporting to the management.
Complete SAP monitoring of application servers up & running, user logged in.
Monitor R/3 & Java-based systems - work processes and their completion status.
Monitor BG jobs periodically, logged users locally & globally.
Monitor system status, analyzing system logs, system traces, and RFC destinations.
Resolve reporting problems like start-up, BG jobs, critical updates, work processes, system logs, ABAP dumps Memory issues, system/database tablespaces, workload, swaps & buffer monitoring, database alerts, etc.
