What you’ll do:


  • At least 7 years of experience with BASIS ideally with Migration, Implementation and Support experience. Experience of both OS (Linux, Windows) and DB exposure (HANA) compulsory.
  • Strong HANA experience and BASIS tech skills in Net weaver concepts and products (ERP or S/4 HANA, BW, PI, FIORI, Solution Manager, BODS, BOBJ, SAP Convergent Charging, Cloud Connector…)
  • Must have exposure to solution manager 7.2, Mandatory Preparations, Managed System Configuration, EWA and CHARM configurations.
  • Must have - one full cycle E2E SAP Project Implementation Experience and after Go-Live Support experience.
  • Day to Day Basis tasks.
  • Add on skills - Integration experience for ERP to PO, Ariba.
  • Working knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery environments, as well as OS level clustering like Microsoft Cluster, Veritas, Serviceguard e.t.c
  • Upgrades and Add-on Installations
  • HANA HA and DR Setup.
  • Knowledge on Metro Cluster.
  • Must have exposure to atleast 2 DR Drill activities
  • Experienced with typical support activities including preventive maintenance
  • Working knowledge of key ITIL processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems, Knowledge/Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting
  • Preferably SAP certified.
  • Experience in developing SAP technical standards & processes and drive adoption.
  • Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues. Participate in crisis resolution meetings as necessary. Collaborate with functional teams on the integration and support of the   SAP systems and new initiatives.
  • Automate administrative and operational systems support functions. Provide training and direction to other operational support teams.
  • Participate in providing 24x7 support on rotational basis to ensure operations of these critical systems for different customers.

Desired Skills


  • Proficient understanding of SAP technologies and applications.
  • Must have strong technical foundation and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with virtual teams and across diverse cultures to deliver results - Conversant in English, spoken and written, with proven communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering against stretched targets
  • Substantial experience consulting, problem management and detailed analysis
  • Substantial experience of working with outsourced partners.
  • • Extensive SAP technical subject matter expertise on Basis / Net weaver / HANA


What you need to bring:


  • Professional degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years related IT experience.
  • Hands on experience in Operations and Support SAP S4HANA, BOBJ, BODS, SAP ECC , SAP CRM, SLT, HANA DB, DB2 or Sybase/SybaseIQ or MSSQL or Mysql or Postgres or MongoDB or Maxdb (Must have worked on atleast 3-4 different Database technologies)
  • Aptitude towards problem solving and troubleshooting skills ABAPA and JAVA environments
  • S4HANA, BOBJ, BODS, GRC, PO, SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SLT experience
  • HANA DB Experience + DB2 or Sybase/SybaseIQ or MSSQL or Mysql or Postgres or MongoDB or Maxdb (Must have worked on atleast 3-4 different Database technologies)
  • Linux + HPUX Knowledge

Preferable:


  • Knowledge of S4HANA, BOBJ, BODS, GRC, PO, SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SLT (We do not need functional consultants or developers)
  • Tools Knowledge on Service Now (SNOW)
  • ITIL Certified.
  • SAP Netweaver, S4HANA, HANA Certified

Certifications:


  • Ideal candidate will be trained & certified in SAP applications like Netweaver, S4HANA, HANA TEC, Solution Manager 7.2.
