What you’ll do:


Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.


Responsibilities:


  • This hands-on role expects the candidate to apply functional and technical knowledge of SAP tools, systems, and processes (SAP Ariba Procure to Pay, SAP FICO).
  • Implement application specific solutions on cross functional initiatives required for projects in the procure to pay and finance domains.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key business users on projects. Uses specialized business knowledge to support engagement on major IT initiatives.
  • Gather business requirements, lead analysis, and implement the high level E2E design aligned with architects and business.
  • Perform configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams.
  • Manages external software vendors and System Integrators on project implementation, ensuring adherence to established SLA’s.
  • Take an application module lead role on IT projects to ensure that all business stakeholders are included and ensure they receive sufficient and timely communications.
  • Develops request for proposals/quote, works to develop project proposals and statements of work, and other engagement activities with IT service providers.
  • Drives tactical and creative problem solving. Demonstrates broad project leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to various technology areas or functions. Performs solution design.
  • Provides functional leadership to teams and integrates product expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
  • Uses formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment.

What you need to bring:


  • Typically, a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Should have one end to end Ariba cloud implementation – especially for Ariba Buying and invoicing.  
  • Should have experience in all functional development of SAP Ariba On-Cloud solutions.
  • Should have experience in guided buying with procurement process implementation, Workflow configuration, Catalog deployment, Ariba network configuration.
  • Should have experience in configuring Buying, receiving, and invoicing scenarios.
  • Should have experience in Building of Supplier Lifecycle performance management templates.
  • Should have experience in build spend Reports.
  • Should have experience in Configuring Supply Chain collaboration scenarios – Ariba commerce automation.
  • Should have experience in Ariba integration with SAP S/4 HANA, other systems.
  • Should have experience in Implementation of Ariba APIs.
  • Should have working experience in Ariba CIG (Cloud integration gateway/Ariba Spend performance management) implementation.
  • Should have knowledge on Contract and Sourcing implementation.
  • Should have Knowledge in SAP Finance and SAP MM modules.
  • Should have good functional knowledge of Account payable E2E process in S4 Finance.
  • Should be good in analyzing the Billing, invoicing, and accounting documents, able to analyze the accounting document.
  • Strong business process knowledge and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization.
  • Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and modern software development methodologies.
  • Good working understanding of Integration of non-SAP Applications through ALE/IDOC and other communication mechanisms from a business analyst's perspective.
  • Good understanding of software test methodologies, and experience with testing automation tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of SAP table structure and ability to understand developer conversations are essential skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small teams and achieve results.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent consulting skills, Self-confident
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts.  Demonstrates strong command of the English language.
  • High internal drive/self-initiative; Ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information; Resourceful.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills; Work well in a team environment.
