Summary: VES is looking for a SAP Analyst - BW to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible for managing our business objects system, which include Business Warehouse (BW) and Business Intelligence (BI). Follows all company and department policies and procedures with special consideration for safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage the Business Warehouse system to ensure all data sources can support business reporting requirements.     
• Create and maintain Business Explorer queries as required for business reporting needs.
• Manage Business Intelligence users and report access.
• Train end users on how to use Business Intelligence reporting.
• Setup and monitor automated BI reporting using BI and Microsoft reporting tools. 
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP BW implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee and execute HANA migrations, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization throughout the process.
• Develop and maintain SAP BW solutions, both on HANA and non-HANA environments, ensuring optimal data warehousing practices.
• Implement and manage SAP BI (BOBJ) reporting tools, integrating them seamlessly with SAP BW for advanced business analytics and reporting.
• Perform system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and SAP BW/BI solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of BW systems, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SAP BW/BI processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to utilize SAP BW/BI tools effectively for reporting and analytics.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BW, including experience with both BW on HANA and BW non-HANA environments.
• Proven track record of leading multiple end-to-end SAP BW implementations, from blueprinting to go-live.
• Strong expertise in SAP BI (BOBJ) and its integration with SAP BW.
• Experience with SAP HANA migrations and upgrades, with a focus on performance tuning and data optimization.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SAP data modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to create and maintain BW Data sources.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.
