Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Architect with a specialty in Data Architecture to join our dynamic team at Trane Technologies. This hybrid role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, data modelling, and data integration to drive our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design and Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Salesforce data architecture strategies that align with business objectives.
- Design scalable and robust data models, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance on Salesforce projects, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Salesforce Architecture and Integration:
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Lead integration with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Data Integration and Management:
- Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Oversee data migration efforts, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Oversee data governance, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
- Implement data analytics and reporting solutions to provide actionable insights.
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a technical expert and advisor on Salesforce data architecture and related technologies.
- Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring technical solutions are aligned with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Performance Optimization:
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Salesforce data architecture.
- Implement best practices for data management, including indexing, partitioning, and archiving strategies.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of Salesforce data processes.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure data architecture complies with relevant data protection regulations and security standards.
- Implement robust data governance practices to maintain data accuracy, privacy, and security.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Document data models, processes, standards, and policies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Data Privacy and Security:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Develop and enforce data access controls.
Training and Adoption:
- Provide training on data-related topics.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a focus on data architecture and integration.
- Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data models and integration solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data management tools, including Data Loader, Salesforce Connect, and third-party ETL tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, SOQL, and other data query languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Tableau, OMS, or other Salesforce products.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud.
