As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's CRM system (Salesforce) for field sales, internal sales operations, service, and marketing business functions. Also, Salesforce CPQ support, including product configuration, pricing rules, and quote generation.  Your primary focus will be on ensuring the system runs smoothly, configuring and customizing Salesforce to meet business requirements, and providing support to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.


In this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.


  • Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements and optimize user experience.


  • Provide support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve support tickets.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements and implement these changes as appropriate.


  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of Salesforce data.


  • Create and maintain documentation for users, processes, and workflow. Also, documenting customizations made within the Salesforce.


  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, planning for upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term projects.


  • Assist in training users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.


  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems.


  • Assist in the implementation of new Salesforce features and functionality.


  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools like process builder, flow automation, and validation rules.


  • Manage less complex Salesforce integrations that do not require the involvement of a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/Partner.


  • Identifying, installing, and maintaining suitable apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.


  • Train new users and fostering Salesforce skill development across the organization.


  • Regularly complete internal system audits


  • Mentoring and guiding junior salesforce administrators.


The required qualifications for the job include:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.


  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.


  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.


  • Experience with data management and data quality assurance.


  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Experience with Agile methodology, successful project management in an Agile environment.


  • Continuous improvement, Gemba, Kaizen, Problem Solving Process, 5-Why
