A Day in the LifeOur Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
The Salesforce Lead Developer will oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, providing technical leadership and direction to the development team. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, designing scalable and efficient solutions, and ensuring high standards of quality and performance across the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce applications, including custom objects, fields, workflows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components.


  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.


  • Provide technical direction and oversight for Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to best practices.


  • Develop and implement scalable and secure Salesforce architectures that align with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.


  • Create and review technical design documents and architecture diagrams to guide development and ensure solution quality.


  • Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems, using APIs, middleware, and data integration tools.


  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and support to ensure high-quality development work.


  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional growth and development among team members.


  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.


  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues, including complex code problems and system errors.


  • Work with Salesforce support and other teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure system reliability.


  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce customizations, configurations, and development processes.


  • Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables.


  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.


  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, web development technologies, and DevOps practices.


  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.


  • Promote best practices, perform code reviews, and ensure appropriate design patterns are being followed.


  • Lead and Mentor a group of talented developers and guide them in technical and functional areas.


Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • A Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience is required for this role.


  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect,


  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I


  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or other relevant


  • Salesforce certifications.
