About the Role:


As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our Salesforce ecosystem to meet business needs. Your responsibilities will encompass mapping business requirements to technical solutions, designing end-to-end Salesforce solutions, and leading a team of developers and administrators. You'll ensure optimal performance by collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project scopes, and prioritizing tasks effectively. With a focus on best practices, you'll mentor junior team members, manage deployments, and maintain system performance and security. Your expertise will drive the success of our Sales Transformation initiative and contribute to our continuous improvement and growth.

Accountabilities:


  • Maps business functional requirements to system/technical requirements adopting Salesforce best practices.
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc.)
  • Understands the scope of the project and validates the correct resources for the project
  • Optimization of solutions through an understanding of business needs and technology capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including business stakeholders, product teams, global IT Apps teams, consultants & vendors to manage deliverables and provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices
  • Efficiently manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, prioritization, and communication
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements
  • Lead a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing regular feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Mentor junior team members in Salesforce technology, Force.com, Integration Technologies, and Salesforce best practices
  • Responsible for the detailed design of technical solutions, Proof-of-Concepts (POC), prototyping and documentation of technical design throughout the SDLC process
  • Coordinate and support deployment of releases
  • Lead Salesforce platform team and manage environments, deployment automation and CI/CD tools, monitor system performance, security and backups
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
  • Track & assess team's performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field.
  • 7 + years of Experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects
  • 5 + years of Experience in designing and developing full stack solutions using Salesforce Platform and related technologies
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions
  • Experience with DevOps tooling Copado, GitHub, Azure DevOps etc. and test automation tools like Copado CRT, selenium etc.
  • Good understanding of how to map business processes within Salesforce.com
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce products and licensing models
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures, and limitations
  • Ability to analyze complex systems as well as troubleshoot and isolate system issues
  • Outstanding communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience leading IT Teams of 6+ professionals (direct and/or indirect reports)
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Lean principles
  • Good project management experience using waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Ability to think critically and challenge conventional thinking

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant  
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Experience implementing CPQ tools like Salesforce CPQ or Apttus CPQ
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • PMP Certification
