POSITION SUMMARY The Salesforce Developer plays a pivotal role in design and implementing out-of-the-box and custom Salesforce solutions that will support a wide range of critical business processes, including those that drive our Go-to-market teams. The role will also handle day-to-day support of the application following Acceldata’s best practices around maintaining data integrity and software development lifecycle processes.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions to meet the specific needs of the various teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
Customize and configure Salesforce to optimize workflow processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
Integrate Salesforce with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across platforms.
Implement automation solutions, such as workflows, process builder, and flows, to streamline sales and customer success processes.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce features and best practices.
Document and test all developed code and applications.
Develop and maintain triggers and Apex code to support complex business logic and automation requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and IT, to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with Salesforce development efforts.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES [REQUIRED]
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on Sales and Customer Success operations.
Salesforce Platform Developer certification is highly desirable.
Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and architecture.
Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive self-starter with inherent motivation to meet and exceed performance goals.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
