About the JobRed Hat Salesforce PRM (Partner Relationship Management) team is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will have systems responsibility for building customizations for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud. You should have the ability to understand the practical needs of the business and translate them into technical solutions focused on efficiency, scalability, and ease of use. As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll work as part of a scrum team to complete configuration and development work, as well as define end-to-end process implementation strategies. This role has a high visibility within IT and our business stakeholder teams.What will you doWork with the sales, operations, legal, finance, and product teams and elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, cases, scenarios, data analysis, and task and workflow analysisCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests and wants from the underlying, true business needsBe responsible for the configuration or development of system changes in SalesforceUnderstand the data model related to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience CloudEnsure solutions are portable so they can be promoted to additional environments, including production, by an automated deployment pipelineMeet team standards for solution design, code, configuration, testing, and qualityParticipate in peer reviews to provide and receive constructive feedbackWork as part of a scrum team as well as on your own with minimal supervisionWork with other technical teams to build integrated solutionsSupport and troubleshoot integration issuesWhat will you bring5+ years of Salesforce consulting or Salesforce implementation experience2+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning and ApexExperience building Lighting Components (Aura or LWC)Experience implementing the Salesforce Loyalty Management featureExperience building and customizing Digital Experience sites for external users (Salesforce Experience Cloud)Working knowledge of at least one of the following Source Code Management (SCM) technologies or similar: GitHub, Bitbucket, gitKnowledge of the Salesforce security model (data sharing and visibility, object and field security, etc) as it pertains to both internal and external usersBachelor’s degreeKnowledge of how to develop and deploy solutionsComfortable building and demonstrating prototypes in SalesforceAbility to understand and troubleshoot implemented codeAbility to understand an implemented architecture and deliver on technical specificationsAbility to accurately scope, plan, and estimate the level of effort for tasks, with an appropriate balance of risk and effortGood understanding of object-oriented technologies to develop software applicationsAbility to work on your own and manage multiple-task assignmentsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentThe following are considered a plus:Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Rebates ManagementExperience with the deployment of Salesforce metadata using the Salesforce Command Line Interface (CLI)Experience using Salesforce Scratch Orgs for Salesforce developmentExperience with DevOps automation using one of the following or equivalent: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, JenkinsExperience with at least one commercial Salesforce DevOps tool: Copado, Flosum, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or equivalentKnowledge of document generation functionality and eSignatureAdvanced degree in the area of specializationAbout Red HatRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
