Job Description

Role Summary


Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is in search of an energetic, team oriented, broadly skilled Technical Lead to help us deliver our next generation B2B Digital Experience Platform (DXP). You will be responsible for leading a team in the delivery of this new eCommerce platform from the ground up. As Technical Lead you will supervise the day-to-day activity of the development team as well as function as the project's architect and most senior application engineer. You will be involved in all aspects of software delivery from sprint planning, standups and code reviews to architecture, design, and development. In this role you will also function as the bridge between the Product Owner and your technical team This role is more than just a “very senior” engineer and definitely not an order taker. The ideal candidate will be a people leader and a true solution consultant challenging the status quo while providing innovative ways to solve complex business problems. This role is expected to work hours that overlap with North America Eastern Time hours.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • 5+ years previous CRM development experience on an enterprise CRM/Digital Experience Platform (DXP). (Salesforce/Adobe/Acquia/Optimizely).
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Jira and other Atlassian tools for agile lifecycle management plus experience of DevOps and CI/CD, automated test and build tools
  • Experience with back-end or front-end web development and related skills, including SOAP & REST services, object oriented design, Apex & LWC, JavaScript, etc.
  • 2+ years’ experience designing and developing software/applications using front-end and back-end tools, such as HTML, XML, jQuery, C++, Python, and Java.
  • 2 or more platform certifications such as: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Integration Architecture Designer, Sharing and Visibility Designer, System Architect, Service Cloud Consultant or B2B Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead design and development activities of our eCommerce portal
  • Responsible for leading the development team in design and development while establishing development practices that align with Agile and DevOps philosophies.
  • Lead the development of integration interfaces between internal systems and external tools for functions such as eCommerce, CRM, CMS, Reporting, CPQ, Single Sign On, etc.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand their requirements and translate that into a design and architecture that your team can deliver on. And support them in their delivery.
  • Participate in the delivery of processes and structures to support a secure, high availability, enterprise system: CI/CD delivery pipeline, automated testing, real-time monitoring and alerting
  • Optimize and improve: we are continually looking for opportunities to optimize our site performance and scalability. And have fun. Ensure that the culture you create for the team is challenging, rewarding and enjoyable
