Experience: 2 to 4 yrs of relevant experience. (Preferably from logistics and freight forwarding organizations)

The main purpose of the job is
The main purpose of this position is to support the sales team to promote and sell GAC services through direct customer contact as seen fit by the department and the company’s vision and objective based on the set plans and strategies
Key Tasks
Sales coordination - Primarily coordination between the Operations / Customer service & the Front Sales Team
Inside sales - converts pre-qualified leads and generates new business with existing customers by using upselling tactics
Price (procurement) support for the pricing team
Negotiating with carrier and network partners overseas, reviewing, and preparing competitive pricing tariffs.
Sales Support - Sending quotations for Sales team and working with sales team for back-end sales support to get the client onboard. Assist in appointments for Sales Managers
Co-ordinate with our own customer for enquiry and try to secure the business by negotiating with pricing and carrier
Collect trade-specific data for progress & performance review.
Generate line-ups, extract statistical information from the sources available and compile our, market research.
Taking feedback from the customers - after sale – and encouraging them to come out with suggestion to improve our services.
Periodic Reporting of overall sales activities and product performance.
Timely submission of invoices and follow-up of payment receivables so there are no pending payments.
Active usage of GAC sales functionality in the GF2 system so as to make full use of the systems in place.
Any other duties requested or delegated by manager to ensure the service level of the company is maintained.
