We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SCADA Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and solutions to clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and close sales that meet both company and customer objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Sales Development & Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SCADA systems market. Develop sales strategies to expand the client base and grow revenue within the assigned territory.
•Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, including utilities, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure.
•Product Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals that clearly articulate the value of SCADA systems and services.
•Needs Analysis & Solution Design: Work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, challenges, and objectives, and propose customized SCADA solutions to meet their requirements.
•Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and final closure. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, technical support, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
•Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and technological advancements in SCADA and automation systems to effectively position solutions.
•Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and report on progress to senior management.
•Customer Support & Relationship Management: Provide ongoing support to customers after the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and seeking additional opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
•Proven sales experience in SCADA systems, industrial automation, or related technologies.
•Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, protocols, and integration with other industrial systems.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into business value for clients.
•Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with various SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, GE, Schneider Electric, etc.).
•Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in sectors like energy, utilities, and manufacturing.
•Ability to create detailed technical differentiator and support contract negotiations.
