A Day in the LifeWe are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Sales Representative II to help us build up our business activities. You will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer satisfaction.
The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Meets or exceeds sales quota and increases total company market share in assigned territory.
  • Partner with the application specialist when and where applicable.
  • Responsible for being a Synergy Capital & Spine “expert” in the marketplace.
  • Aggressively solicits orders from present and prospective customers for the products assigned.
  • Aggressively seeks new customers and formulates and follow plans for such action as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Satisfy customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and to advise Regional Sales Manager and Medtronic promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.
  • Comply with all Medtronic policies.
  • Stay attentive to competitor’s product and merchandizing practices and to keep the Regional Sales Manager and Medtronic informed concerning them.
  • Maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities
  • Represent company at industry conferences and maximize potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads, and pursue opportunities to promote the company’s product range
  • Follow the principles and adhere to the SFE practices.
  • Maintains Consignments and Loaner inventory in line with company guidelines.
  • Prepares and submits call reports as required by Regional Sales Manager.
  • Recommends the additions of new products and the modification or deletions of present products to the line as appropriate.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
  • Cooperates with all personnel on the execution of Company programs.
  • Creates and implements an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
  • Provides service to customers per their individual needs.
  • Submits reports and provides information as directed.
  • Adheres to company policies and conducts all business in an ethical manner.
  • Manages business with Medtronic profitability in mind.
PLEASE NOTE : PRODUCT LINE WILL BE SPINE AND HIGH SPEED DRILL SYSTEM.
SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.DIFFERENTIATING FACTORSAutonomy: Established and productive sales professional managing multiple small to mid-size accounts.
Sells products and/or services to a group of clients and identifies new and potential customers.
Works independently with general supervision .
Builds relationships.Organizational Impact: Works to achieve individual sales targets within product area and/or account by selling products/ services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
Has a direct impact on achieving department’s sales results.
May help to set objectives or goals for individual or team accounts .
Works on larger, moderately complex accounts or have a small or medium-sized quota/territory.
Understands market landscape, marketing and pricing structure, more influence on pricing structures.
Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts.Innovation and Complexity: Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals .
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Communication and Influence: May influence parties within own job function at an operational level.
Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience.
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues .
  • Bachelor’s in science / BE in Biomedical Engineering
  • Required 3 to 7 years of experience
  • PG degree in Business Management is preferred
  • Candidate with highest qualification as Diploma or degree from Distance education not to be considered for the role
  • Experience of handling a Concept selling based Therapy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Ideally demonstrated success in a sales function of technical equipment
