Hiring for a Sales Director - (Shared services/BPO) for one of the global consulting providers.

With over a decade of experience, they focus on areas like Global Business Services (GBS) transformation, AI and automation, outsourcing advisory, process mining, change management, and learning and development. Their expertise spans various domains, helping organizations streamline operations, reduce risks, and achieve strategic success.  On the growth path they are looking expand the sales team in India to help drive their growth strategy. 


Role details:


•    Title / Designation: Sales Director - (Shared services/BPO) 
•    Reporting Manager:  CEO/COO
•    Location: India – Remote 


Role & responsibilities:


•    Drive client success within Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and BPO environments, focusing on finance, operations, and HR.
•    Identify and pursue opportunities to grow client accounts.
•    Develop commercial models fostering long-term partnerships and mutual benefits.
•    Address challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
•    Demonstrate structured, strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
•    Exhibit strong leadership skills in uncertain and complex environments (VUCA).
•    Communicate complex ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
•    Build and maintain trust with clients, balancing advocacy for their needs with organizational goals.
•    Assist the sales team in identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
•    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
•    Monitor and achieve sales and revenue targets, tracking progress closely.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve client satisfaction and service delivery.


Candidate requirements:


•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
•    13+ years of experience in account growth and client relationship management in Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and BPO environments, with a focus on finance, operations, and HR.
•    Should have experience in selling to Shared services, BPO services to any industry (preferably CPG, Pharma and Food & beverage)
•    Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
•    Strong focus on client satisfaction and retention metrics.
•    Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
•    Results-oriented, resilient, and collaborative team player.
•    Active listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
