Sales Director is the managerial regional role in Sales function, who reports directly to the VP Revenue. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all business activities typically spanning a wide geographical area through overall responsibility towards regional Board regarding sales business strategy and achieved results in terms of margins, revenue, growth and acquisitions.  


Sales Director also, based on the inputs from RMs and analysis of cost-benefit ratio, decide on attendance on regional events/hosting strategy and use information gathered in events, conferences and workshops to propose new directions in development of Infobip’s salesforce in dedicated regions. Not only that the person on this position have a full visibility and accountability for regional results for sales, but also, it is expected to be responsible for creating and developing a stable, functional leadership team that will drive forward new initiatives, projects and results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned Region
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
  • Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of the region
  • Implements Regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

Success Metrics:


  • Annual increase in quarterly/annual margin, revenue, growth and acquisition targets in the regions (financial reports, CRM data)
  • Standardization of Sales process in region (sales process is implemented across assigned teams in the region according to CRM steps and sales playbooks) 
  • Setting annual / quarterly goals for sales team in the region according to the sales business strategy (successful accomplishment of OKRs of all assigned teams in the region) 
  • Building / maintaining a high performing unit (region / department) (group results of the Team Diagnostic Survey, increase in results over time),
  • Collaboration of the teams within the unit and between different units, close collaboration with MD (stakeholder survey results from team members inside the unit and from stakeholders outside the unit, established regular reporting and department meetings that result in better results in the region)
  • Change management (depending on the change - analytics on rate of change, execution of change and benefits of the change / stakeholders feedback / satisfaction surveys /ROI)
  • Effective budgeting (proposed budget vs. achieved results)
