Join us as an Inside Account Manager and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.  The team is driving the business from our existing customers through revenue growth targets, while managing a pipeline of targeted renewal accounts and identifying potential upsell opportunities in our customer base and over time cross-sells.  The Business Generation Representative will work for our Digital Experience line of products, focusing on ShareFile. This role involves managing customer relationships, understanding their needs, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales, particularly in the US market, and will be motivated to exceed sales quotas.  Responsibilities:  Respond to product inquiries generated via Chat, Website, Webinars, and Events. Acknowledge, Follow Up, and Qualify inbound leads for Progress products, specifically ShareFile. Research leads and penetrate accounts for details like contract end date, type of licenses, product used, news, LinkedIn mapping. Follow cadence on every lead and work on it by calling, emailing, and LinkedIn InMail. Generate qualified expansion opportunities. Schedule calls for existing customers with their dedicated Account Managers. Adhere to the established follow-up cadence for leads. Maintain accurate track of communication, lead qualification information, and updates of activities, stages on Salesforce. Day-to-day management and optimization of databases on Salesforce & Salesloft for email campaigns, cold calling prospects as per schedule. Align with a team of Account Managers for pipeline generation. Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approaches.  Objectives:  Help existing business by creating a pipeline for growth. Be part of the Revenue Generation Team supporting Account Managers in bringing more dollars within designated territories. Report day-to-day lead, opportunity, and account level anomalies and operationalize the solution to overcome them. Use deep business insight and market knowledge to assist existing customers. Establish data hygiene practices that optimize lead generation results. Data enrichment on inbound leads and lead duplication management. Requirements:  Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team while demonstrating flexibility and reliability. Self-starter that takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technological strategies to both end-users and decision-makers throughout organizations, including technical, business, and C-level audiences. Well organized and detail-oriented. Familiarity with word processing, database, scheduling, and email applications; willingness to learn the latest programs and applications as needed; and general knowledge of Salesforce (a plus), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access preferred. Prior experience of using analytical tools will be an added advantage but not necessary.  Education and Experience:  1-3 years of relevant experience in Sales Development & managing marketing leads. Bachelor’s degree.  If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
