Could you be the full-time Independent Safety Assessor in India we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your rigorous and structured expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, resilient, and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure the safety and reliability of our projects and products by conducting thorough assessments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Quality Control), deploy safety assessment processes and tools and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of delivering safety assessment reports, presenting assessment results to various stakeholders, and managing safety findings logs, but also support safety reviews and independent assessments as needed.
We’ll look to you for:
Planning and executing Independent Safety Assessment activities for assigned projects
Applying and contributing to the continuous improvement of safety assessment processes and tools
Delivering clear and comprehensive safety assessment reports
Presenting results and managing communications with project teams and external entities
Supporting the Independent Safety Assessment director or Safety Assessment lead in capturing assessment requests
Contributing to the success of internal/external audits on process compliance

Master Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field
Experience in the railway safety domain or extensive experience in the railway domain with a focus on safety
Knowledge of Alstom Ethics & Compliance policy and EHS policy
Experience in conducting audits
A certification in World Class Engineering (WCE) Expert in Safety is advantageous
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
Resilience and negotiation skills
