Collaborate with stakeholders to create dynamic refrigeration cycle model in Dymola, optimize model to ensure accuracy and support design engineers in adopting and using dynamic simulation tool.

Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain dynamic refrigeration cycle model and its component models (compressor, heat exchanger, expansion valve, etc.) on a Dymola-based simulation platform.
  • Design and conduct testing in lab to calibrate and validate the dynamic model of the refrigeration cycle system to ensure model accuracy, meanwhile, optimize model from computation perspective to improve simulation speed and robustness performance.
  • Collaborate with refrigeration cycle control engineer or design engineer from product development department to optimize and validate the control logic of the refrigeration cycle system by using dynamic simulation tool.
  • Take active part in product development department to support design engineer in adopting and using dynamic simulation tool,

Educational Qualification:

  • Master degree in refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, thermal engineering, or power engineering (or equivalent).

Working experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in modeling of thermal fluid systems, refrigeration cycle system is preferred

Skill requirements:

  • Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, calculus and numerical analysis
  • Solid skill on one-dimensional simulation, physical modeling using Dymola&Modelica
  • Familiar with Matlab&Simulink and MBD (Model based design)
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to make objective decisions in collaboration with managers to ensure that the right decisions are made.
