Job Summary:
Using analytical and experimental techniques, lead the development of fans and airflow systems in terms of noise, strength analysis, thermal flow analysis and manufacturability.
Responsibility:
- Through numerical and experimental analysis, develop new types of fans (propeller, cross-flow, centrifugal, sirocco) for air conditioners that improve the fluid performance and reduce noise.
- To do thermal flow analysis with in system and around system to improve thermal efficiency of product at development stage and analyze thermal efficiency at customer site.
- Work with various stakeholders, including the members of platform design department, each module, and the production technology department, to develop a fan that maintains performance and noise levels without sacrificing strength or productivity.
- Propose and design prototypes and experimental equipment that will lead to the evaluation of subsystems, including fans and shrouds.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics dealing with the flow around fans, turbomachinery design, rotating machinery, and CFD analysis.
Working experience:
- at least 5 years of fan design, thermal analysis or research experience
Skill requirements:
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make objective decisions in collaboration with managers to ensure that the right decisions are made.
- Ability to make judgments that enable correct responses to stakeholder comments.
- Ability to propose new approaches to problems
Language:
- Excellent communication skills.
(Fluent English, both written and spoken is preferred.)
