Job Summary:


Using analytical and experimental techniques, lead the development of fans and airflow systems in terms of noise, strength analysis, thermal flow analysis and manufacturability.


Responsibility:


  • Through numerical and experimental analysis, develop new types of fans (propeller, cross-flow, centrifugal, sirocco) for air conditioners that improve the fluid performance and reduce noise.
  • To do thermal flow analysis with in system and around system to improve thermal efficiency of product at development stage and analyze thermal efficiency at customer site.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including the members of platform design department, each module, and the production technology department, to develop a fan that maintains performance and noise levels without sacrificing strength or productivity.
  • Propose and design prototypes and experimental equipment that will lead to the evaluation of subsystems, including fans and shrouds.

Educational Qualification:


  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics dealing with the flow around fans, turbomachinery design, rotating machinery, and CFD analysis.

Working experience:


  • at least 5 years of fan design, thermal analysis or research experience

Skill requirements:


  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to make objective decisions in collaboration with managers to ensure that the right decisions are made.
  • Ability to make judgments that enable correct responses to stakeholder comments.
  • Ability to propose new approaches to problems

Language:


  • Excellent communication skills.

(Fluent English, both written and spoken is preferred.)
