Job Summary:
Responsible for the successful completion of development projects within the Advanced technology development team. The candidate will be recognized as a leader in technology and project management, be self-motivated and independent in understanding the importance of technology, have the ability to perform tasks, and lead people and projects in the development activities of the assigned site.
Reporting to the Director of Advanced Development.
In the advanced development, we will propose specifications for high-efficiency refrigeration cycle control, which is extremely important in the development of new products. Collaborate with stakeholders to create control models that balance annual and rated performance and significantly reduce the time required for control development and testing of commercial air conditioners.
Responsibility:
- Assign the appropriate personnel and set the appropriate objectives and targets in charge of the plans of management and product planning, and instruct the members with respect to the improvement of refrigeration cycle efficiency, development of energy-saving control of refrigeration cycles, heat exchangers, fans, and structures that allow flow path resistance and strength to be within specifications.
- Retain the motivation and engagement of all members.
- Simulation and experimental analysis will be used to generate ideas for improving the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle control of commercial air conditioners from both hardware and software perspectives.
- In terms of the refrigeration cycle control, the control specification that always produces a controllably stable state and minimizes the annual power consumption is designed, even during cooling or heating operation, when connecting long or short pipes, and when connecting a few or many indoor units, by utilizing the knowledge of automatic control theory and heat exchangers, accumulators, and expansion valves.
- Optimize stable and high-performance control specifications when configuring the refrigeration cycle, even with new refrigerants and corresponding combinations of refrigeration oils.
- In cooperation with the members of the platform design department, each module, and other interested parties, identify the gaps between current and target performance and proposes new improvements, not only in terms of performance, but also both performance and cost.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in automatic control engineering, or mechanical engineering or thermodynamics engg (or equivalent).
Working experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in control design or as a researcher
Skill requirements:
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make objective decisions in collaboration with managers to ensure that the right decisions are made.
- Ability to make judgments that enable correct responses to stakeholder comments.
- Ability to propose new approaches to problems
Language:
- Excellent communication skills.
(Fluent English, both written and spoken is preferred.)
