ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Design and development of inverter system and harmonic suppressor for air-conditioning or appliances
- Development of inverter and power electronics for control system, circuit and PCB assembly
- EMC and Thermal design, analysis and countermeasure
- Design validation and testing of the inverter for motor and compressor and also for converters
- Carry out Innovation within Controls
- Should be able to contribute with regular updates for Controls project team meeting.
- Should be able to understand & adhere to product development processes & relevant documentation
- Should ensure process compliance & regulatory compliance
EXPERIENCE: About 3~5 years of experience as Hardware Engineer
SKILLS:
- Experience in electrical/electronic circuit design, especially power device and inverter switching circuit
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink for control design
- Experience in Matlab for circuit simulation
- Circuit design- DC-DC Power Supply Design- SMPS based, EMI/EMC compliance based design, Motor/Compressor drives, communication interface design- UART,RS485,SPI,I2C etc
- Design documentation
- Component selection, BOMs and drawings
- Design evaluation and verification of PCBAs - operation checks power, signal,EMI/EMC etc
- Certification tests - standards know how, conduct, analysis, countermeasures
- Production line support - to stabilize mass pro of new product - ICT, FCT, others
- PCBA failure analysis , other quality related data & quality improvement
- VAVE activity
- Patents
- Proficient in Project management
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional, locational, and cultural teams.
- Strong communication & presentation skills to articulate views/thoughts with internal or external customers.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:
Masters or Bachelor of Engineering / Technology – Power Electronics Engineer or Equivalent
