RTS Engineer | Leading UAE bank

📍 Location: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)We are looking for a talented RTS Engineer with expertise in Flink/Beam, Kafka, and Java to work with our prestigious client, a leading national bank in the UAE. This role involves designing and delivering cutting-edge real-time streaming (RTS) solutions that drive impactful banking operations.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement real-time streaming solutions using Apache Flink/Beam, Kafka, and other related technologies. Architect robust and scalable data pipelines to process and analyze streaming data efficiently. Optimize JVM performance for enhanced application stability and responsiveness. Ensure the efficient deployment and orchestration of services using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements. Conduct performance tuning and ensure the reliability of the deployed systems. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in streaming and data engineering to enhance solutions. Qualifications A Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 4+ years of experience in the development and design of real-time data streaming solutions. Extensive coding experience in Java, with hands-on expertise in Flink/Beam and Kafka. Proficiency in Elastic Search for efficient data retrieval and analysis. Strong knowledge of JVM tuning for optimizing performance in high-demand applications. Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. A strong understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills Experience in financial or banking applications. Knowledge of security best practices in handling sensitive data streams. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex streaming issues in real time.
