We are looking for Rolling Stock Converters Professional (Electrical Engineering)

You’ll make a difference by

• Develops the product, solution and/ or service strategy and suggests a long-term roadmap for the lifecycle of the assigned Product, Solution and/or service portfolio, which ensures their commercial success.
• Engineering of Traction Converters and Auxiliary converters (Locomotive, EMU, Metro)
• Design Power schemes, System Stimulations & validation of power electronic converters.
• Cooling technologies (Air and Water Cooled).
• PLM process, FMEA, Various IEC, EN and IS standards.
• Generating component specifications, Test strategies
• Project planning and execution
• Design calculation for selection of electric components.
• PLM Project management
• Design low-cost components and Product costing.
• Design and test concept development.
• Decision making
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques like A3, 8D etc.
• Risk Assessment.

Desired Skills:

• Software Skills: MATLAB, Mathcad, ELCAD, EPLAN, SAP, Teamcenter
• Knowledge in Power Electronics, Standards & Technologies:
• Conceptualize, design, develop, validate and smooth introduction of Traction and auxiliary converters as per customer specification.
• Knowledge in designing electronics systems and components for traction applications.
• Establish test specifications of electronics. Technical requirements, requirement specifications, specific standards.
• Selection of components like Magnetics, Heat sink, capacitors, contactors, resistors, Fuses, Blowers, Low inductive busbars etc.
