We are currently seeking a research-oriented practitioner Test Automation Expert in the field of Verification and Validation of SaaS software.

As part of this role, your focus would be to define and strategize testing processes, frameworks and tools. Following is (but not limited to) your core business expectations:

You’ll break new ground by:

·Drive research, development, and consulting projects in close teamwork with colleagues, customers and universities.

·Evaluate and improve test automation technologies (e.g. by building prototypes). Hands-on skills in applying the above techniques to real industrial problems to deliver solutions to Siemens business globally.

·Be a quality evangelist and propagate innovative test methods and technologies across Siemens.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

·5+ years of relevant test automation expertise with research mindset and interest in advancing the state of practice.

·Comfortable with popular test automation frameworks (Selenium/Robot framework)

·Comfortable with programming in Python/Java.

·Devops skills or knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm is preferred.

·Design and development of Proof of concepts (POC) for integrating cutting edge technologies into existing frameworks.

·Exposure to testing/test automation for Generative AI applications is an advantage.

·Experience in use of AI/ML techniques such as LLMs, Generative AI would be an added advantage.

·A publication record or invention disclosures is a plus.

Soft Skills

·Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills in English a must.

·While you are self-motivated and capable of working independently, you are also comfortable in guiding and managing teams.

Qualifications

·B.E or master’s from a reputed institute.

·QA related publications in developer/tester conferences would be a plus

·Contribution to open-source software would be a plus
