As a Research Analyst  in the Operational Due Diligence team you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm by supporting the operational due diligence process for alternative investment managers (hedge fund, private equity, real estate, private credit, and venture capital) and collaborating with the Private investment due diligence team


Job responsibilities


  • Monitor the operational due diligence process for alternative investment managers (hedge fund, private equity, real estate, private credit, and venture capital) and collaborating with the Private investment due diligence team
  • Set and disseminating operationally focused questionnaires across a range of investment strategies
  • Assist in conducting ongoing due diligence on fund managers and investment strategies.
  • Prepare and participate in operational due diligence meetings with third party investment managers; this includes evaluating and forming an opinion on various operational risks such as organizational infrastructure, counterparties and service providers, valuation processes, cyber security, compliance, and regulatory issues.
  • Review and score responses to operational due diligence questionnaires.
  • Review and analyze fund financial statements.
  • Work collaboratively with control partners in governance, risk, compliance, and internal audit.
  • Present analysis, findings and opinions at Investment and Governance Committee meetings 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.


  • Qualified professional with 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Related experience in fund due diligence, risk advisory, consulting etc. (e.g., Asset Management, Big 4 Audit/Advisory, management consulting, regulatory agency)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party managers.
  • Good understanding of investment strategies and fund structures
  • Investigative skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • CFA/CAIA designation or any progression towards it will be a plus.
