Job Description Summary


World-Check is a database of Politically Exposed Persons and heightened risk individuals and organizations, used around the world to help to identify and manage financial, regulatory, and reputational risk. Candidates must be fluent in English and research, monitoring of news, identification of relevant research data. The ability to convey careful analytical judgment and complex information in a concise, impartial, and accessible manner to clients is essential. Responsible for conducting in depth and complex analytical research to support the needs of customers for standard and premium reports.


Job Description
 


Conducts detailed, comprehensive searches and creates in-depth analysis on assigned research projects. Research and extracts data from all applicable sources, ensures accuracy and quality of findings by complying with policies and applicable laws. Develop appropriate search queries to maximize research results. Provides regular communication and feedback to client. Provides regular status updates on research projects to manager. Effectively manage workload within defined deadlines and budgets.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Research, monitoring of news, identification of relevant research data.
  • Profile creation for allocated area of responsibility.
  • Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries, including direct contact with customers.
  • Creating/maintaining Political & Risk Profiles.
  • Sourcing, creating/maintaining World Check related news profiles for the various crime categories.
  • Improve efficiencies in work practices by implementing automation where possible.
    Maximizes usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
  • Completion of client requests and ongoing projects for respective areas.
  • Ensures data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for their covered product/market.
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.
  • Adhere to change control procedures, Content Operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
  • Creation of SOE (State Owned Enterprise) profiles in all level.

Required Skills (Must have)


  • Strong understanding of World-Check process guidelines.
  • Knowledge of research tools & techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, eager to learn and multitasking.
  • Ability to work in different shifts (including night shifts).
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with a keen eye for detail

  • Strong understanding of Financial Risk/ NEWS / Current happenings and detail oriented.

  • Excellent attention to details, eager to learn new things and multitasking.
