Job Summary:

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Implementation:

Classroom Management:

Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

Observe and assess each child's developmental progress and learning needs.

Provide individual and group support to encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Communication and Collaboration:

Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

Keep accurate records of each child’s progress, achievements, and behavior.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students by adhering to school policies and procedures.

Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on the latest educational practices, early childhood research, and relevant regulations.

Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Certification in early childhood education may be required.

Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting is preferred.

Skills:

Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.

Working Conditions:
