Job Overview
A Social Science Teacher is responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that educate students about the various branches of social science, including history, geography, economics, sociology, and political science. The role involves fostering a deep understanding of social issues, human behavior, and societal structures, while encouraging critical thinking, debate, and awareness of the world. The teacher will work with students to develop skills in research, analysis, and communication, while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure (depending on local regulations).
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in social science subjects.
- Strong knowledge of social science topics and current global issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage students and inspire critical thinking and inquiry.
- Proficiency in educational technology and classroom tools.
