Job Title: Western Music and Instruments Specialist**
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Western Music and Instruments Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Western music genres, a deep understanding of various musical instruments, and the ability to educate and inspire others.
Working days : 3 days of week
Male candidates are preferred
- **Educational Programs:**
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and lectures on Western music and instruments for students of all ages.
- Create educational materials and resources to support learning objectives.
- Organize and conduct masterclasses and guest artist sessions.
- **Performance and Demonstration:
- Perform and demonstrate proficiency on a variety of Western musical instruments.
- Collaborate with other musicians and artists for performances and events.
- Arrange and participate in concerts, recitals, and community outreach programs.
Instrument Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and care of musical instruments.
- Provide guidance on proper instrument handling, storage, and repair.
- Manage inventory and procurement of instruments and related equipment.
Curriculum Development:
- Design and update music curriculum to include a comprehensive study of Western music history, theory, and performance practices.
- Integrate technology and digital resources into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with local schools, music organizations, and community groups to promote music education and appreciation.
- Plan and execute community events, music festivals, and educational outreach programs.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external music education partners.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in music education, performance, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in playing and teaching multiple Western musical instruments.
- Strong knowledge of Western music genres, history, and theory.
- Excellent communication, instructional, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students and community members in music activities.
